What’s Included in Our Upgrade Kits
Upgrading control is more than swapping hardware. Our engineering team migrates and verifies your:
- Programs & Macros: translated and tested for the new controller family.
 - Parameters & Offsets: transferred and validated to preserve machine behavior.
 - PLC/Ladder: Implemented for the new I/O structure with clear documentation and alarm handling.

Expert Configuration Recommendations
Every machine is different. We specify the right combination to match your current hardware and performance needs:
- Controller platform: Modular or Compact
 - Drive interface: SERCOS or Analog—we adapt to your installed drives
 - External feedback: interface planning for encoders, scales, or other feedback devices.
 - PLC & I/O: mapping, digital/analog I/O counts, panel wiring, and expansion as needed.
 - Probing: probe input handling and probing cycles integration (touch probe or tool setter).
 - Operator devices: keyboard/monitor selection, handwheel integration, and panel layout recommendations.
 - Networking & data: Ethernet/USB file handling and backup procedures.

How the Process Works
- Assessment – We review your machine (make/model), current controller, axes/spindle, drives (SERCOS/analog), feedback, I/O, and options (probe, handwheel, etc.) with a full backup of your current controller
 - Proposal – You receive a clear upgrade path, scope, trade-in details, and schedule.
 - Engineering – We build the kit, convert programs/parameters/PLC, and prepare documentation.
 - Delivery – Kit ships with installation guide and labeling; we schedule support resources.
 - Installation – Your team installs with our phone support, or choose our one-day on-site service.
 - Commissioning & Verification – Final checks, basic tuning validation, and handover. Training available on request.

Support Options

Frequently Ask Questions
Can I keep my existing drives and motors?
Yes. We support both SERCOS and Analog drive interfaces.
Will my programs still run?
Yes. We convert CNC programs, cycles, and macros to the new controller family and verify representative parts for compatibility.
What about my PLC/ladder?
We migrate the PLC program and I/O mapping, align alarms and interlocks, and document the final configuration.
How long will the machine be down?
With our pre-engineered kit and instructions, most changeovers are designed to fit in a one-day installation window. Actual downtime depends on machine condition and site readiness.
Do you provide training?
We can provide operator and maintenance orientation with the upgrade or as a separate service.
What does the trade-in require?
The old controller must be complete and functional (boots and runs). Final credit is confirmed after inspection.
What if my machine has a probe, tool setter, or handwheel?
We plan for probe connections, tool setters, and handwheel integration during the assessment and include them in the kit and PLC mapping.
What about documentation and future service?
You receive updated I/O lists, parameter sets, and backups, making future maintenance straightforward.
